KDA views the safety, health and wellbeing of our employees, visitors and customers as paramount to our business. All KDA personnel will act with the highest standards of personal and professional integrity and do not tolerate others who attempt to deceive or evade responsibility for actions. We are direct, honest and truthful in our discussions with government officials as well as in all dealings with customers.
In an effort to promote employee wellbeing, health and productivity, KDA installed architectural glass in our manufacturing facility. Our 1-5/16” insulated laminated glass windows were designed to maximize natural light in the workspace to foster employee wellbeing.
We are committed to minimizing our effects on the environment. For example, we installed ENERGY STAR Qualified LED Lighting in our manufacturing facility. These lights reduce energy cost by almost 75%, and last 35 to 50 times longer than incandescent lighting and about 2 to 5 times longer than fluorescent lighting. Additionally, to help reduce water, KDA installed 20,000 gallon underground water tanks to catch, store and recycle our roof rainwater for all nonpotable uses.
All KDA employees share personal responsibility to create and maintain a safe work environment. For example, we are engaged in OHSA’s Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP), which promote effective worksite-based safety and health.
